Correct handling of defective batteries & rechargeable batteries

The handling and transportation of batteries and rechargeable batteries that are declared as hazardous goods are subject to a very special duty of care. This also applies to packaging, safe loading and transportation. To prevent risks, it is essential to use specific load carriers that comply with official regulations and have a UN marking.

Areas of application

The SECON KMB is specially designed for the safe handling of batteries and lithium-ion batteries. This includes new batteries, prototypes of batteries and cells, used or damaged ("yellow") batteries, devices with lithium-ion batteries and batteries intended for recycling or disposal.
