Over the past 80 years, a family business has grown into the internationally active SSI SCHAEFER Group. SSI SCHAEFER Plastics, the most recent spin-off of the group, bundles outstanding expertise in the processing of plastics as well as in the sale of container solutions, waste technology and associated digital services in the three business units Container Systems, Constructive Packaging and Waste Technology and Digital Solutions.
We think plastic is a fantastic material because we use it to create individual solutions and durable products that have a high proportion of recycled materials and can be recycled again.

Business segments
The three business segments of SSI SCHAEFER Plastics comprise the area of Waste Technology and Digital Solutions, the range Constructive packaging as well as the area Container Systems. These three business areas are united by their common origin: solutions made of plastics.
ISO certifications
Our guidelines and regulations in production and sales meet the highest international standards. In particular, the ISO certifications 9001 (quality management system), 14001 (environmental management system), 500001 (energy management system) guarantee you excellent standards in terms of quality and safety as well as international comparability.
TISAX certification
- "Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange", in short: TISAXis an assessment based on a questionnaire that deals with the handling of external sensitive data and information in companies. We have participated in a TISAX assessment under the following scope ID: SMM5KF and assessment ID: AT1NPX-3 (AL 3 - Prototype Protection).
- The TISAX questionnaire also deals in particular with the topics of data exchange with sub-suppliers and prototype protection. These topics and the TISAX standard are of essential importance for automotive suppliers and manufacturers.
- TISAX assessments are conducted by specially qualified and accredited audit companies. The results are not intended for public inspection.

Whistleblower system
The SSI SCHAEFER Group's whistleblower system offers a protected channel that complies with the EU Whistleblower Directive. It can be used to report existing, potential or imminent grievances - both at SSI SCHAEFER and within the supply chain. The whistleblower system is available to employees, customers, suppliers and all persons who are in contact with SSI SCHAEFER. It is available around the clock, seven days a week, worldwide. The menu navigation is in German or English. Information on any misconduct can also be entered in any language via the free text field.
