Natural resources are valuable and rare commodities that need protection. Crude oil is a fossil material used to produce plastics. We strive to limit the use of these and other materials by implementing circular economy strategies that prioritize sustainability in our work.

Sustainability Report
SSI SCHÄFER Group
The SSI SCHAEFER Group, our parent company, summarizes its commitment in the new Sustainability Report 2024. We at SSI SCHAEFER Plastics have also made significant progress in 2024 - including a B rating in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), the best possible rating and clear evidence of our consistent commitment to climate protection. In addition, we were able to save over 3.5 GWh of energy through efficiency measures and increase the recycling rate of our GMT waste container series by 11 %.

Reduce CO2 emissions with space-saving containers
75 - 80 % Volume savings potential
Exploiting potential savings while also benefiting the environment - this is what characterizes our nestable containers. These are true space wonders. Whether by folding down the stacking brackets in our conical reusable containers (KMB) or a simple 180 degree rotation of the EUROFIX Box (EFB) - by simply stacking one inside the other, nestable bins save up to 75 % of volume when empty. Both in manual handling and in automatic storage, the rotary stacking bins play out their advantages.
