Procedure for post-chipping

Every functioning plastic waste garbage can, no matter how old, can be retrofitted by us on site - either in the existing chip nest or by drilling a hole. The process is clearly structured:

1. Letter to citizensCitizens receive information in advance, including a label for the garbage cans and the calendar week in which the bin is to be provided. In addition, a flyer is recommended to provide citizens with further information on the process and the reason.
2. Labeling of the containersIn the specified calendar weeks, citizens place their bins with the appropriate label on the street - just like a normal collection.
3. Linking chip & labelLabel and chip are scanned and linked together on site. Optionally, an additional sticker can visibly confirm the successful chipping or the label can be covered with a weatherproof label to make it more durable.
4. Recording & documentationThe calculation is based on the success rate, i.e. the number of addresses visited. A detailed final report documents the rechipping for each individual container with time and status.
